Tara McVicar is a filmmaker and photographer with a background in small business and story consulting. She has a strong visual style and an intuitive sense of structure and story. In addition to directing, she loves every aspect of content creation. She is adept on multiple editing platforms and comfortable shooting on an array of cameras.  Her past projects include documentary, scripted reality, cinema verite, music and promotional video, narrative and true crime.  Her experimental films have received grants and award honors.  She holds an B.F.A. in Film Production and a B.A. in Modern Literature. She may have had a wild foray into the bizarre world of viral video...

Currently working in a freelance capacity, Tara is seeking a family of enthusiastic creators and a home where she can expand her experience and grow within an established organization.
